Tom Maloney
For over 30 years, Tom Maloney designed and built real estate — now he sells it. Tom joined the staff of Jack Conway Hingham office after a successful career as a designer and project manager at the Graham Gund Architectural firm in Cambridge.
A Hingham resident, Tom believes his background in building and landscape architecture will be an asset to his Conway clients. “I can help buyers see the potential in homes because I have a professional’s view of what’s possible,” he said. “I also have experience in registered historic houses. My own home and barn were built in 1800, and I can assist buyers who are interested in these kind of properties, which are very common in Hingham and throughout the South Shore."
Tom designed and helped build the Hingham Community Playground, Hingham High School and the town's South Elementary School. He previously served on the Community Preservation Committee and the Development & Industrial Committee working on the Hingham Square and Hingham Harbor Master Plans.
“When I decided to start my real estate career with Conway, I already knew the company’s reputation,” said Tom. “It is a locally owned firm, which started in Hingham and has strong community ties. The people who work here are a friendly, team-oriented group who put their clients’ needs first. It feels like a good match for me.”
A Jamaica Plain native, and former Braintree resident, Tom earned a bachelor’s degree at Boston Architectural College. He and his wife Michele have two children, Nicholas & Abbey.
